Although the reappearance ot the plariet Saturn has this year excited an unusual degree of interest, in consequence of the discovery of hid iuterior faint ring last year, 1 mas unable from various causes to conirnence my observations upon it until September. A few excellent nights having since occurred, 1 do niyself the pleasure of sending you the results of all the exan~inations 1 have been able to make with my 84 foot equatorcal refractor.
