โœฆ Synopsis

In .X 1200 of the Astr. Nachr. Dr. Aumers has published corrected elements for I859 Juli 18,O derived from the first six oppositions. A comparison of our results gives This close agreement is of some interest, since we have used different methods for t h e computation of the perturbations. The error of Dr. Aumers' ephemeris for 1860, namely h a = -3'28, is not justified by A.-S.; therefore only a constant error in the computation of the ephemeris i s probable.
