The optical-optical double-resonance spectroscopy is applied to study the ion-pair states of \(\mathrm{Cl}_{2}\) correlating to \(\mathrm{Cl}^{-}\left({ }^{1} S\right)+\mathrm{Cl}^{+}\left({ }^{3} P_{2}\right)\). In the \((1+2)\) photoexcitation sequence, we gain access to the \(0_{u}^{+}\left({ }^{
