Objective: First Certificate is a brand new course from Cambridge University Press. Written in the light of experience of the revised First Certificate syllabus, Objective: First Certificate gradually builds candidates' language level and exam skills, providing a lively, thought-provoking and thorough preparation for the exam. - Short, manageable units help give a sense of progression and achievement. - Revision and recycling sections consolidate language. -Regular 'Exam Folders' familiarise candidates with the exam format and provide practice of exam-type tasks. -Special 'Writing Folders' develop students' skills in this 'difficult' area. -A grammar reference section allows students to check the rules they already know or have just learnt. - The Workbook provides a source of optional extra practice for students to do at home. - The Teacher's Book contains additional, photocopiable activities and suggested lesson plans, as well as answer keys, tapescripts and lesson notes.
