✦ Synopsis
the progression, 1 due to hemorrhagic syndrome). Toxicity of grade 1 3 was observed and it lasted less than 6 months in 90% cases. Myalgias and ossalgias were observed in 4 patients grade 2; asthenia in 2 patients grade 1 2; flu-like syndrome in 4 patients grade 1, skin toxicity in 3 patients grade 2, neurologic toxicity in 1 patient. Most side effects were 1 2 grade, asthenia and flu-like syndrome were observed mostly often, only few patients receiving INF have minimal toxicity of grade 1 after 36 months of observation. Conclusion: In case of correct chosen dose of IFN this drug can be effective with minimal side effects in most patients with CMPD, especially in ET and PV patients. By now immunotherapy is the best way of treatment while other specific methods of therapy are not available.
