## Abstract This study addresses mechanisms by which interleukinβ1Ξ² (ILβ1Ξ²) regulates human chondrocyte apoptosis induced by a combination of the antiβCD95 antibody CHβ11 and the proteasome inhibitor (PSI). The effect of ILβ1Ξ² on apoptosis varied among tissue samples. ILβ1Ξ² either enhanced (16/22 s
