β¦ Synopsis
Heβs not a robot. Heβs not a human. Heβs both.
Liege, changed against his will into a super soldier by nanotechnology, is driven to protect humanity from the evil intent of his enemies. But the deadly focus he was wired for comes to a crashing halt when he sees her, a female who ignites in him a very human hunger, one he no longer thought himself capable of feeling.
Summer Coltrane is oblivious to the powers swirling around her--light and dark, evil and good--until the veil between both worlds is ripped open and sheβs plunged into a terrible power play between a darkly tempting warrior and his ruthless enemies.
To stay alive, she must join forces with Liege, a man who kills without remorse to save those he loves in a war no one in her world can know about. **
From the Author
Dear Readers,
This is it! Our new adventure in the Red Team/Omni/O-Men world begins with Liege's story!
For those of you who haven't read the Red Team, you're in the right place--Liege's story is a great entry point. No prior Red Team knowledge is assumed in this series. There will be some appearances in Liege's Legion of Red Team characters, so if you have time and interest, there's another whole series waiting for a binge-read!
For those of you who have read the Red Team, you'll notice that this story is on the same timeline, starting back in September, roughly at the end of War Bringer.
Liege's story doesn't have a cliffhanger , but it does end with a peek at the next story, which is Bastion and Selena's. Selena was the lone warrior left unmatched from the Red Team series. I've been dying to write her story, but she needed to be paired with the perfect-for-her hero, and I think Bastion is just that guy!
For now, I hope you fall as deeply in love with Liege and Summer as I have!
