✦ Synopsis

The effect of diet on serum hormone levels and breast carcinoma risk is an active area of investigation. In the current study, the authors report the results of a 12‐month randomized intervention trial of a diet plan that lowered fat intake, increased fiber intake, and increased the number of servings of fruits and vegetables per day to reduce serum steroid hormone concentrations in premenopausal women.
