✦ Synopsis
The effect of diet on serum hormone levels and breast carcinoma risk is an active area of investigation. In the current study, the authors report the results of a 12‐month randomized intervention trial of a diet plan that lowered fat intake, increased fiber intake, and increased the number of servings of fruits and vegetables per day to reduce serum steroid hormone concentrations in premenopausal women. See referenced original article on pages 1870–9, this issue.
