✦ Synopsis

The turbulent droplet flow heat transfer at post-dryout conditions was analyzed for the thermal entrance of circular tubes at low system pressures. The velocity and eddy diffusivity~functions of Deissler [1] were used for the vapor phase, with the droplets performing as distributed heat sinks. Variable mesh was used near the wall in the numerical calculation. The analysis predicts the experimental results accurately.
