A numerical study of turbulent line puff
โœ J. H. W. Lee; G. Q. Chen ๐Ÿ“‚ Article ๐Ÿ“… 1998 ๐Ÿ› John Wiley and Sons ๐ŸŒ English โš– 337 KB

The time evolution of a line puff, a turbulent non-buoyant element with significant momentum, is studied using the renormalization group (RNG) k-model. The numerical results show that the puff motion is characterized by a vortex pair flow; the computed flow details and scalar mixing characteristics

Renormalization group approach as an app

It is demonstrated that the real-space renormalization group approach is equivalent to an appropriate diophantine system of equations. The method is applied on several examples of the Ising model. There exist many papers and books concerning with different aspects of renormalization group (RG) appr
