β¦ Synopsis
The classical integral equations which arise from the Dirichlet and Neumann problems for Laplace's equation in two dimensions are discussed. The exact representation of the density function in the neighbourhood of a corner point is found. This is used for an effective treatment of comer singularities.

In this paper a procedure to solve the identiΓΏcation inverse problems for two-dimensional potential ΓΏelds is presented. The procedure relies on a boundary integral equation (BIE) for the variations of the potential, ux, and geometry. This equation is a linearization of the regular BIE for small chan
