✦ Synopsis


In the paper the experimental results considering the effects of temperature on the elastic modulus and creep of concrete are introduced into the mathematical models of the three-dimensional finite-element method to improve the calculation of creep stresses in mass concrete structures. The finite-element implementation of the exponential algorithm for concrete creep at variable temperatures is studied. The numerical solution procedure for thermal creep Istresses in mass concrete structures with temperature effects is presented and a three-dimensional finite-element program is developed.
