✦ Synopsis

The magnetovolume effect in ferromagnetic metals at zero temperature is estimated in the local spin density approximation by making use of two functions b(M, v) = %C(M, V)/CM and p(M, v) = -cW(M, k')/a V numerically, where E(M, V) is the total energy of the system as a function of the magnetic moment M and the volume V. The obtained results are compared with the experimental results.
