✦ Synopsis

The aim of the present work is to investigate the reliability of numerical simulations for the prediction of the shrinkage of a metal injected molded component. The numerical analyses, performed on a 3D component, allow the numerical predictions to be compared with experimental results of debinding and sintering steps.
