St. Johanns-Ring 19, CH-4056 Basel (23.1.87) Nucleosides and Nucleotides. Solid Phase Synthesis of a Tridecanucleoside Dodecaphosphate Containing the Unnatural Base 4-Amino-Z(lH)-pyridinone and of a Octanucleoside Heptaphosphate for the Determination of the DNA-Polymerase Specificity The tridecanucleoside dodecaphosphate d (T-T-Z-C-G-T-C-A-A-A-A-T-C) incorporating the modified nucleoside 4-amino-l-(2'-deoxy-~-~-ribofuranosyl)-2( lH)-pyridinone (Z,, 1) and the octdnucleoside heptaphosphate d (G-A-T-T-T-T-G-A) were synthesized by the solid-phase method using the triester method. The carrier material was a copolymer consisting of styrene with I % divinylbenzene.
