## Abstract Carcinogen‐induced early DNA lesions and metallothionein (MT) over‐expression have been implicated in cell proliferation and thereby subsequent expression of premalignant phenotype of the cell. We have therefore investigated the chemopreventive potential of vanadium in a multi‐biomarker
