✦ Synopsis

We discuss the first computer simulations for superfluid vortex formation in 3He flow through narrow channels.

Overall features of the phase slippage processes through vortex motion are found to be independent of details in the boundary conditions: diffusive and specular cases exhibit the same scenario.
