✦ Synopsis
Capabilities
of the resonance jluorescence technique are discussed. Specific reference is given to the study of ground state dipole and electric quudrupole transitions below about 5 MeV in ZQePb, 207Pb, zoaPb andzoo Bi. It is suggested that many of the states observed in z07Pb and zOsBi arise from the weak-coupling of a pIIZ neutron hole or an h,,, proton to collective levels of zOSPb.
