β¦ Synopsis
It is pointed out that nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of the naturally abundant nuchde 14N in an oriented crystal yield the nuclear magnetic shielding tensor, in addition to the nuclear electric quadrupole interaction tensor. The primary shielding anisotropy (do=) of "N in KNO, is 149.8 x 1 Oe6; in Li,N it is 260 x 10m6.
