✦ Synopsis
Nudear magnetic resonance of " Al nuclei wns used to determine the quadrupole splitting constants vQ of the A? ion in the oxalate complexes of h'a.hlgAl(C:!0$!3-8H20 and NahigAl(C204)3-9H20.
The eightfold-hydrated crystal was obhined by annealing a nkefold-hydrated crystal. The resonance spectrum of the ninefold-hydrated crystal is split and the asymmetry prrrameter r) amounts to 0.076.
