## Abstract Two NQR lines were observed for ^35^Cl in 2,5βdichloroβ4βnitroaniline at room temperature, using a selfβquenched superβregenerative spectrometer. Analysis of the Zeeman effect on the two lines using a cylindrical single crystal reveals that the crystal belongs to the monoclinic system.

The Zeeman spectrum of the jsCl NQR line in a cylindrical single crystal of a,a'-dichloro-o-xylene was recorded at room temperature and analysed to obtain information regarding the nature of the crystalline unit cell. The crystal system is determined from the analysis. The two observed loci are due
Temperature dependence of 35C1 nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) frequencies has been studied in 3-amino-2-chloropyridine and 2thloro-S-nitropyridine from 77 to 298 K. The data were analysed and the torsional frequencies regarding internal motions in the molecules evaluated in the above temperature
