This book was the last book in the Psy Docs series and was meant to bring everything together. I enjoyed writing the end of this book as much as I enjoyed writing the romance between James and Jake. The end of the book showcases James's skills as a spell creator some and it shows just how much attention Jake paid to James's work because Jake uses James's spells to draw Carlin into the alternate plane--the astral plane. He kills him here using a spell bomb created by James. The spell bomb is kind of awesome because it blows Carlin up with magick and then Jake imprisons his spirit in a ring which is also awesome.
The romance between James and Jake is pretty hot I think because although they've been together before, they get to know each other a little bit more. So, they get closer.
