Celtic Catalysts opens UK pilot plant

Chemical development firm Celtic Catalysts has inaugurated a new pilotscale production plant at the former ICI site in Redcar, NE England. The plant will house Celtic Catalysts' large-scale reactors that will allow the production of various products of up to 250 litre scale. The new production capacity will enable the company to provide large quantities of its proprietary products, and to work with contract R&D partners from milligram to tens of kilograms scale. Celtic Catalysts supplies hard-tomanufacture chiral and non-chiral products to the fine chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
