Abstract

A novel reflected interferometer is proposed. Two types of the new interferometer are presented. The first type uses a point source, while the second type uses a collimated beam. The new interferometer can be used in surface‐structure testing and sensing. A third type is also presented that can be used as a wave‐meter interferometer. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
