## Abstract A novel stationary phase with tentacle‐type metal‐chelating polymer chains was fabricated for open‐tubular CEC. The preparation procedure of the stationary phase included the synthesis of monomer, silanization of capillary inner wall, __in situ__ polymerization, and metal complexation.
