## Abstract Nonβsyndromic syndactylies have been classified into five major types (IβV), all showing autosomal dominant mode of inheritance. Later, the classification was extended and three additional variants (VIβVIII) were defined. Type VII, the CenaniβLenz syndactyly, is the only nonβsyndromic,
