โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

A novel model for analyzing differential LC oscillator noise is presented. The proposed analysis enables us to separately compute the impacts of white and flicker noise on the oscillator phase noise in terms of simple analytical expressions. Further, the analysis also takes into account the contribution of the tail noise of a differential LC oscillator to the total phase noise. ยฉ 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Non-linear, singular oscillator systems arise in various areas of the engineering and physical sciences. In particular, they occur in the areas of mechanical oscillations [8], electronic circuits [4, 7] and plasma physics [2]. The corresponding model ordinary differential equations (ODE) have been e

## Abstract A model to perform timeโ€domain simulations of noisy oscillators by means of linear timeโ€variant systems is presented. The proposed model has been implemented in an ODE simulation software, and the obtained power spectral density has been compared to the one obtained with the SpectreRFโ„ข
