In the title mononuclear zinc(II) compound, [Zn(C 16 H 36 N 4 )]-(ClO 4 ) 2 , the Zn 2+ atom lies on an inversion center and is coordinated by four N atoms from the macrocyclic ligand. The coordination geometry is slightly distorted square planar.
