Abstract
The novel dual‐mode square‐loop resonator (DMSLR) with Hilbert perturbation is introduced to design bandpass filter in this paper. To obtain low insertion loss (0.55 dB), high out‐of‐band rejection level (−28.8 dB), and wider splitting band (BW 26.14%) filters, iterative Hilbert perturbation and space‐filling technique usage are proposed here. Significant size reduction of over 19% is obtained at 0.948 GHz. Results including surface current distributions and frequency responses are presented and discussed. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
