✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Band‐pass filters using complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) are proposed in this article. Two‐cascaded and three‐cascaded band‐pass filters using CSRR are designed, simulated, fabricated and measured. The resonant characteristics of the cascaded band‐pass filters show their advantages of compact size, excellent pass‐band performance and high out‐band suppression. The measured results show a good agreement with the simulated results. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett, 54:449–451 2012; View this article online at wileyonlinelibrary.com.
