## Abstract Das Produkt der alkalischen Verseifung von Vinylacetat in Wasser unter 15°, C~8~H~14~O~4~, wird als Acetyl‐aldoxan erkannt; bei entsprechender alkalischer Verseifung von Vinylpropionat entsteht Propicnyl‐aldoxan.
