3‐Acylchromone 1 reagieren mit amidingruppenhaltigen Verbindungen in Gegenwart von Natriumethylat zu 5‐Hydroxy‐5__H__‐benzopyrano[4,3‐d]pyrimidinen und 5‐Acylpyrimidinen 2, welch letztere auch ausschließlich entstehen können.
