โœฆ Synopsis

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has become a mature field with many specialized areas, for example, unstructured grid generation and adaptation, error estimate, upwind and higher order schemes, convergence acceleration, multi-grid and preconditioning techniques, flow visualization and parallel computation.

In addition, CFD is no longer restricted to analysis, but is used extensively in industry for design and optimization, as well as for flow control. Furthermore, there are still many challenging problem areas. Among these are turbulence modelling, reactive and multi-phase flow, and a variety of multi-disciplinary applications to name just a few.
