✦ Synopsis

On the basis of a simple model, the following features of the susceptibility of dilute copper-manganese alloys are discussed:

a) The concentration dependence of the effective Curie temperature in the high temperature region;

b) The occurrence of a "gradual" antiferromagnetic transition at low temperatures; c) The concentration dependence of the position and shape of the antiferromagnetic transition.
