## Abstract ## Background Rats with experimental Parkinson's disease (PD) are treated with intravenous glial‐derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) plasmid DNA, non‐viral gene therapy using Trojan horse liposomes (THLs) targeted with a monoclonal antibody (MAb) to the rat transferrin receptor (TfR). E
