Synopsis
A complete normal coordinate analysis, infrared absorption, and inelastic neutron scattering studies on a-glycylglycine are reported. A Urey-Bradley force field which is also valid for N-deuterated sample is obtained. Assignmenk in the low-frequency region are based on inelastic neutron spectrum obtained in one phonon and cubic approximation.

## Abstract Normal vibration analysis of cyclic tetraglycine has been carried out employing the Urey‐Bradley force field and the vibrational assignments are compared with those in related molecules.
The distributions of sensory thresholds were estimated in a healthy population while controlling for potential covariates. The Fourier transform infrared and Fourier transform Raman spectra of adenosine in the polycrystalline state were recorded in the 4000-to 30-cm 01 spectral region as part of a series of normal coordinate analyses of nucleic acid components and their analogues carried out in our laboratory. The concept of characterizing normal vibrational modes l in terms of internal vibrational modes v typical of molecular fragments or structural subunits is n developed. Essential for this concept is the amplitude A A that provides the basis for a n quantitative comparison of modes l and v and, by thi
