Una di una lunga lista, e non sa che cosa la aspetta. È così da molto tempo. È normale, e funziona alla perfezione. Poi incontra la cassiera dell'alimentari aperto 24 ore su 24 e tutto cambia. A quel punto il piano, la caccia, la stanza... le altre non gli servono più. Ha bisogno solo di lei. Ma proprio quando decide di redimersi, la polizia gli sta col fiato sul collo. Lui potrebbe anche riuscire a nascondere le proprie tracce, se non fosse per un piccolo particolare: c'è ancora qualcuno nella sua gabbia.
