Previous band assignments for thurene&. -dl and -dz are reevaluated in the hght of new Spectroscopic data on CYCIOpropene Evidence IS presented for the assignment of the 657 cm -* absorption to the symmetrrc ring deformation mode of thurene supporting the assignment of the 910 cm -I band to the H-C=C bendmg m-pkne mode. Normal coordmate analysis reproduced the observed frequencres.
