Abstract

A patient who had the Guillain‐Barré syndrome (GBS) with associated increased intracranial pressure (ICP) and papilledema is described. The cerebrospinal fluid protein level and electrophoretic pattern were normal. This indicates that abnormal or excessive CSF protein is not the cause of the ICP and papilledema associated with GBS.
