✦ Synopsis
Social science researchers can use the microcomputer to replace a hehavioural event recorder in order to code the frequency and duration of theoretically interesting behaviours of interest. A program called NONVERB is described that makes direct coding of nonverbal behaviours from videotapes easier and more accurate than using time-duration counters and event recorders.
