✦ Synopsis


Triblock copolymers, SBS (S = styrene, B = butadiene), containing 34.1 and 52.5% styrene, respectively, have been studied with respect to the extent of crosslinking produced by irradiation with 60Co-rays. By investigating the variation of their glass transition temperatures with dose, we demonstrated that styrene, 1,4-butadiene and 1,2-butadiene segments have different crosslinking efficiency. Then from the method of probability, we derived the relationship,

and discussed the variation of sol content with dose.
