It is suggested to use simulta3leous point-symmetry tests in evalnatig triveriate repeated m asurement designs nonpwametrically. With k =3 treatments being applied to each of N individual8 in randomized sequence, pairs of treatments are compared as to 3 variables or incremental sign patterns. It is shown that unifold trivariate tests preserve more information than do multifold univmiate tests. The method is illustrated by an example from psychophyeiological research.

Nonparametric analysis of ANOVA designs is proposed to be done by simulteneous contingency testing of diacretised response variables. Selected treatment-reeponse patterns are evaluated by predictive configural frequency analysis (local contingency). Treatment response associations are defined by reg
