✦ Synopsis

The response of a mesoscopic Sb film to microwave radiation has been studied. We have found that the xystern acts as a rectifier; i.e., a dc current, Idc, is produced when the sample is irradiated with a microwave field. Results for the dependence of Ia, on microwave power, temperature, and magnetic field are presented, and shown to be in good agreement with the theory of Fsl'ko and Khmel'nitskii.
