✦ Synopsis


We report on χ (3) -nonlinear generation in crystalline ceramics {YGd 2}Sc2O12 offering partly disordered garnet structure, namely octave-spanning Stokes and anti-Stokes lasing comb and third harmonic generation under one-micron picosecond pumping. Possibilities for creation of really disordered laser "garnet"-type ceramics is discussed.
