✦ Synopsis

The nonlinear evolution of a nonneutral electron gas-discharge plasma density in crossed E H B fields taking into account nonelastic electron-neutral collisions and a low electron temperature has been considered. It is shown that the temperature effect depends on the sign of the initial density gradient and accelerates or decelerates the process of relaxation and flattening of the electron density equilibrium profile.
