✦ Synopsis

Starting with the Bogoliubov hierarchy, we show that the dynamics of a dense gas with a weak enough interaction obeys a three dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation for the single particle wavefunction. The result does not depend on a ẗype of particles statistics. The possible applications of the developed approach to a description of nonlinear effects in heterogeneous media are briefly discussed.
