The n&Iinear diclestric effect, NDE, and the calculated correlation factors 28' and RS are reported for birwy sotutians of benzonitrile and lauronitrilc in benzene and cyclohexane. Substantial differences found for solutions in those two solvents have beca explained in terms of critical phenomena in cyclohexanc solution.
