β¦ Synopsis
The performance of solid-gas reactions in a fluidized bed reactor is simulated by a model based on information of the bubble behavior and the movement of solids. The computational procedures for the cases in which the solids are fed continuously to the bottom of the bed and withdrawn from the top, and vice versa are developed. The applicability of this method has been tested using the experimental data of the roasting of zinc sulphide.
