The effects of the electronic correktions on the radiative transition nutris elements are investigated theoretically. The calculation shows that the effective electronic configurations are drastically reduced by utilizing the modified H-F operator.

Ruorescence quantum yields for various single vibronic levels and fluorescence decay times for the 4l level have been measured for HzCO, HDCO, and D#3. implications of the observed rates of radiative and non-radiative transitions to vibronic cciupfing mechanisms and p~otoc~emisr~ are discussed. Rec
Radiative lifetimes of the lowest triplet states are determined for several aromatic hydrocarbons from the measured fluorescence quantum yield, phosphorescence quantum yield, and lifetime of phosphorescence. It is found that the radiative lifetime is considerably Iorger for pcrdeuterated naphthalen
