β¦ Synopsis
An experimental study of the e!ects of cavitation was carried out through an analysis of cavitating Butter#y and Monovar values. Focus is particularly placed on both unsteady pressure and acoustic pressure #uctuations. In this paper, the e!ects of cavitation on local #uctuation pressure (turbulence), acoustic propagation (damping and sound velocity), resonance frequencies and level of noise are presented.

This study investigated the e!ect of steady noise, #uctuating noise and music on circulatory function. Pulse-wave and blood pressure were continuously measured in 35 healthy young females who listened to three types of music or were exposed to steady noise or #uctuating noise, synchronized with each
Fractography analysis was used to investigate a structural component which failed during its normal service life. It has been found that imperfections in the metallurgy and heat treatment were the major causes of failure. Some detrimental impurities were found in the material. A number of cracks wer
## Abstract A novel method is presented for the removal of spikes, caused by the division of two series of integers, from highβresolution histograms. When two series of integers are divided the results take the form of a nonuniform distribution. Such a division is often used in medical imaging, due
